Company Background
Laurence
Anderson, owner of Teak Masters, Inc., is a second generation wood
craftsman who grew up learning the trade from his father. After retiring
from military service in 1971, Mr. Anderson went to New York where he
served a five year apprenticeship to perfect his craft. There he learned
pattern making, the art of designing an original mold to create layout
duplicates and layouts, as well as advanced tooling and production
techniques. After leaving New York, Mr. Anderson returned to South
Florida where he married and settled down to open Teak Masters in 1984.
The
philosophy of Teak Masters, Inc. is simple - every piece of work is
created under the personal supervision of Laurence Anderson and is done
in the highest spirit of excellence. In this spirit of excellence our
wood is prejointed, ensuring a flatter, smoother, more uniform quality
of construction. And every effort is made to be sympathetic to the
time-tables and problems of designers and builders. Please
